MMA is often referred to as the world’s fastest growing sport. Its popularity is constantly increasing, the possibilities for development are endless but there is also great need for structure, governance and acceptance. In order to harness all this exciting potential as well as ensure proper governance of the sport the IMMAF was founded in February 2012 as the international democratic body to represent MMA worldwide. The purpose of the IMMAF is to further the development and recognition of the sport of mixed martial arts, enabling international competition through the organization of national federations around the world.
Since the foundation in 2012 the IMMAF has grown almost as fast as the sport and now have representation in the form of national federations in over countries around the world.
IMMAF federation members include the United States of America, Canada, United Kingdom, Japan, Russia, Australia, India , Lebanon, Singapore and Malaysia.
