MASMMAA​

The Malaysia Mixed Martial Arts Association (MASMMAA) is the governing body of the sport of MMA in Malaysia.

Established in December 2013, MASMMAA aims to promote the development of MMA along key ingredients of sportsmanship, fair play,  discipline and excellence.

MASMMAA is an affiliate of the International MMA Federation (IMMAF) based in Sweden with more than 50 national federations spanning the Americas , Europe and Asia.

MASMMAA’s founding objectives include:

-To govern, sanction and monitor the promotion and development of MMA across all levels in Malaysia;

-To establish and implement a successful grassroots MMA developmental program at selected age groups;

-To ensure all MMA activities conform to regulatory and international safety standards;

-To instil positive sport values in MMA  through appropriate tools;

-To work with all established international regulatory MMA bodies to expand the MMA network in this global sport;

-To identify and work with appropriate MMA partners to raise the technical levels of stakeholders in the sport in Malaysia;

-To manage and sanction the participation of the Malaysian national team to compete at international MMA competitions worldwide.

-To assist in provision of athlete’s training, welfare and well being.
